Sports
It’s all about enjoyment and participation when it comes to school sports. We encourage children to get involved in as much school sport and outdoor learning as possible. A wide range of individual and team activities are on offer with co-operative and competitive activities in games, gym, swimming and athletics.
No matter your child’s ability, we will always strive for an inclusive and encouraging atmosphere. Our inter-house and inter-school festivals and competitions ensure that each child can continue to enjoy sports. Excellent teaching from qualified staff means that your child will continue to develop through a fun and stimulating physical education programme.
Cultural experiences
Regular school visits are arranged to places of cultural, historical, geographical and scientific significance, as well as to theatres both in and around Manchester. Major cultural events such as Diwali, Eid, Chinese and Jewish New Years are just some of the events studied and celebrated, often with parents and children leading the way. In assemblies and subjects such as religious education, history and French, pupils consider their own culture and those of others.
The school has a welcoming and caring ethos where everyone is valued and achievements are celebrated. We consider manners to be of utmost importance along with a clear understanding of what is right and wrong.
